Christoph Haffter, post-doctoral researcher in philosophy of music at the philosophy department of the University of Basel and the Hochschule für Musik Basel. PhD in Philosophy with a thesis entitled Musical Materialism – a philosophy of contemporary music. Studies in Philosphy and Musicology in Basel, Paris, Berlin and New York. He has taught aesthetics and philosophy of art at University of Fribourg and was editor of the journal Dissonance.
